1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Giesen Coffee Roasters B.V. ("Giesen", "we") uses on the GiesenCloud website and application, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Notice.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage; this policy refers to all of them as "cookies".
3. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always active)
These are required for the platform to function — signing in, keeping your session, and protecting against cross-site request forgery. They cannot be switched off.

Analytics (marketing website only)
On our public marketing pages we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are not used inside the GiesenCloud application itself.

Google may process this data outside the EEA; transfers are safeguarded as described at /trust/sub-processors.
We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies.
4. Managing cookies
- Analytics: you can refuse or remove analytics cookies at any time through your browser settings or Google's opt-out add-on (both below). Refusing them does not affect your use of GiesenCloud.
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to GiesenCloud.
- Google opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may update this policy when our cookie use changes. The current version is always available at /legal/cookies.
