Fit standard PT100 or thermocouple probes to a roaster from another brand, connect them to the Giesen Profiler and record every roast.

Standard PT100 and thermocouple probes
Most roasters can be fitted with standard temperature probes. The Profiler reads them and turns them into the curves you roast by.
Resistance temperature probes in 2-, 3- or 4-wire setups.
Type K, J, T and E thermocouples.
Add a differential or gauge pressure sensor as its own curve.
Calculated from the bean probe.

Plug in, pick a curve, start roasting
Connect the probes with the Giesen sensor kit and choose External probes when you add a roaster in the Giesen Profiler. The setup finds the connected probes, and you decide which one measures the beans and which one the air.

External probes read temperatures. Burner, airflow and drum stay on the controls of your roaster, so the features that need a Giesen controller are not available.
